World Food Company is a family-run and very friendly firm, committed to organic, Fairtrade, the environment and our people. We have moved three times since set up and are now in a purpose-built, eco-friendly factory, but still just 200 yards from where we started!
We are at the forefront of Fairtrade spices in the UK and Europe and continually strive to work in an eco-friendly manner. At World Food Company, we have, also, incorporated many environmental features into our factory and use ‘green’ suppliers wherever possible. Furthermore, we are carbon neutral.
Our mission is to make organic and natural whole food more accessible and affordable so all people can build themselves and their families with honest, healthy food. We want to make a natural life accessible so that more people are eating real food and cooking from scratch.
World Food Company started as one bag of organic hemp seeds, a Dad with a mission to make organic food more accessible and affordable and a very pregnant Mum with a toddler in tow who wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to do this ‘right now!?’. But we were so tired of spending lots of money on fancy packaging and expensive branding that we kept building our stock.
Here at World Food Company we do our very best to keep our costs low and our quality high. This is so we can provide a service to people who want to feed themselves and their families with honest, healthy foods that don’t cost the earth.
We know our customers care about organic food standards as much as we do so our products are sourced from suppliers who share our passion for quality foods. We jump through every hoop to make sure all our foods are packaged freshly and hygienically with codes that can be traced right back to the farm they were grown on. We source the highest quality products from the most ethical and quality oriented suppliers from around the world.
World Food Company are Soil Association and SALSA certified. We have a 5 star food hygiene certificate from the FSA and we work closely with trading standards so you know exactly what you are getting when you shop with us.
